Hi, my name is Russ Marshall and I am a Masters level Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I have been involved in human services since 2007 working and volunteering in various capacities.
I started my journey by completing a Child and Youth Care diploma through Lethbridge College and after a few years of work continued onto a Bachelor of Social Work and Clinical Master’s of Social Work through the University of Calgary (Lethbridge campus).
My areas of interest include working with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal concerns, and parenting concerns. Currently, I am expanding my practice to include working with couples. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I maintain a strong Person-Centred approach and draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Systems Theory, and Gottman Couples Therapy.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, son and dog. We love spending our time traveling, camping, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family.
I offer daytime and evening appointments two days per week.
